- Client-side conversion: images are decoded by your browser and embedded into the PDF on your device.
- Zero network calls: no part of your images, their names, or their sizes leaves your browser. Verify in the Network tab.
- No file storage: images stay in memory and are cleared when you reset the queue or close the tab.
- No content analytics: we never log or transmit your filenames, dimensions, or image bytes.
- EXIF orientation is normalized in the browser so phone photos appear upright in the PDF.
How do I convert images to PDF for free?
Drop your images onto this page, drag them into the order you want, choose page size and margin, and press Convert to PDF. It is free with no account and no daily limit.
Are my images uploaded to your server?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser using pdf-lib. You can verify this in the DevTools Network tab β no image bytes are transmitted.
Which image formats are supported?
JPG, PNG, GIF, and WebP work in every modern browser. Some browsers (notably recent Safari) can also decode HEIC; if your browser cannot decode an image, the file is flagged so you can remove it.
Why are some phone photos rotated when other tools convert them?
Phone cameras store rotation in EXIF metadata. Tools that ignore EXIF show the image sideways. This converter asks the browser to apply EXIF orientation when it decodes each image, so portrait photos look upright in the output PDF.
How do I combine multiple images into one PDF?
Add the images, drag them into the order you want, leave Output set to "Merge into one PDF", and press Convert to PDF. You will get one file with one image per page.
Can I get a separate PDF for each image instead?
Yes. Switch Output to "Separate PDFs (zip)" and the converter packages one PDF per image into a single zip download.
What does "Fit to image" do?
It makes each PDF page match the dimensions of the source image, so there is no extra whitespace. Choose A4 or US Letter when you need a standard print size; choose Fit to image for screenshots, diagrams, or scans.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no enforced limit. Practical limits depend on your device memory; very large queues may take longer to process.
