Privacy by default
The short version: Tool Matic runs its tools in your browser, and whatever you put into a tool stays on your device. This page explains what limited data we do handle.
How the tools work
Every Tool Matic tool runs entirely in your browser. The files, text, and settings you enter are processed on your own device — they are not uploaded to, transmitted to, or stored on our servers. When you close the tab, that input is gone.
Information we collect
We collect a limited amount of anonymous usage data — such as which pages are visited, approximate region, browser, and device type — to understand which tools are useful and to improve the site. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
Cookies and local storage
We store a small amount of data in your browser to remember your preferences, such as your chosen language and light or dark theme. As Tool Matic evolves we may introduce additional cookies or storage; this policy is updated whenever that happens.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Aggregated, non-identifying analytics may be processed by trusted service providers that help us operate and measure the site.
Your choices
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time from your browser settings. Because the tools run locally, clearing site data simply removes the preferences we stored — the tools keep working.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Tool Matic changes. The date below always reflects the current version; significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
