Tips for a perfect PDF

  • Use "Fit to page" for mixed-size images

"Fit to page" scales each image down to fit within the page margins while keeping its aspect ratio — ideal when combining portrait and landscape photos.

  • Set orientation before selecting paper size

Changing the orientation (portrait/landscape) re-maps the paper dimensions. Set it first, then choose A4, Letter, or a custom size.

  • HEIC and TIFF files are decoded in your browser

HEIC (iPhone photos) and TIFF files are decoded on the fly — no app or conversion needed. The first HEIC or TIFF may take a moment to initialise.

  • Use undo if you reorder by accident

Ctrl+Z (or Cmd+Z on Mac) undoes the last action, including reorders, rotations, and removals. Up to 20 steps are remembered.

Frequently asked questions

What image formats are supported?
The tool accepts JPG, PNG, WebP, BMP, GIF, HEIC, and TIFF files. HEIC (common on iPhones) and TIFF are decoded in your browser using dedicated workers — no server upload required.
Is there a limit to the number of images?
You can add up to 100 images. A warning appears when you reach 80 images, as generating very large PDFs in the browser may take a moment depending on image resolution.
Does this tool upload my images anywhere?
No. All processing — image decoding, reordering, rotation, PDF assembly — happens entirely in your browser. Your images never leave your device.
Can I set the PDF page size to something other than A4?
Yes. Open the Settings tab and choose from A4, Letter, Legal, or Custom. For Custom, enter your desired width and height in millimetres.
What does "Fit to Page" vs "Fill Page" mean?
"Fit to Page" scales the image so that it fits entirely within the page content area, keeping its aspect ratio and adding white space on the shorter sides. "Fill Page" scales the image to cover the full content area — the image may be cropped if its aspect ratio differs from the page.
Can I undo changes to the image order?
Yes. Press Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z on Mac) to undo, or Ctrl+Shift+Z (Cmd+Shift+Z) to redo. The Undo and Redo buttons in the action row do the same. Up to 20 steps are remembered.
