Digital and analog clock modes

Read the current local time in the format that suits you. Switch between a sharp digital readout and a live analog face — all running in your browser.

Guide

How to Use

  1. 1
    Pick a clock mode

Choose Digital for a numeric readout or Analog for a classic clock face with hour, minute, and second hands.

  2. 2
    Set your display format

Toggle between 12-hour and 24-hour time, turn seconds on or off, and choose a digit style — Sans, Mono, or Segment.

  3. 3
    Go fullscreen

Press the fullscreen button or hit F to expand the clock to fill your screen. Use the rail at the bottom to adjust settings without leaving fullscreen.

  4. 4
    Keep the screen on

Enable the Keep screen awake toggle so your device does not dim or sleep while the clock is displayed. The toggle appears only on supported browsers.

  5. 5
    Copy or share the time

Click Copy time to write the current time and date to your clipboard. The clock also updates the browser tab title so the time is always visible.

Frequently Asked Questions

How accurate is the clock?
The clock reads directly from your device's system clock and updates once per second. Accuracy depends on your device's clock synchronisation, which is typically within a second of true time.
What's the difference between Digital and Analog modes?
Digital shows a numeric readout with your chosen font style and optional seconds. Analog shows a live clock face with hour, minute, and second hands — the second hand sweeps smoothly by default.
Will the tab title keep updating in the background?
The tab title updates once per second while the browser tab is open. Background tabs may be throttled by the browser, so the title can fall a few seconds behind and catches up when you return.
What is the 7-segment digit style?
The Segment style renders digits in the style of an LED or LCD display, similar to a classic digital alarm clock. Choose it in the Digit style control under the Digital tab.
Are my settings saved between visits?
Yes. Your hour format, digit style, seconds preference, and other settings are saved in your browser via localStorage. They are restored the next time you open the clock.
Why doesn't the "keep screen awake" toggle appear?
The Screen Wake Lock API is not supported in all browsers. If the toggle is absent, your browser does not support this feature. It works in recent versions of Chrome and Edge.
